St. George Service Award 2012-2013

In order to graduate from St. George, you must complete 25 hours of community service.  But, because I went above the requirement, and completed over 70 hours of community service, I was given the Knight's Service Award.

Some of the many community service projects I did included,  performing at school masses, helping at the school recycling drive, book fair, and track meet.  I volunteered at a senior center and convalescent home, directed Tiny Tot Olympics, helped with sport team snack bars, and worked at a Halloween and End of Summer carnival for my local parks and recreation community center..

It gives me a great sense of pride, when I know that I am helping others and using my talents for others to enjoy.  I hope that I leave a lasting impression on the people that I help, because I want them to know that there are still people in the world that care about them, and their community.
