Student Council President

As the 2012-2013 Student Council President, I was the leader of my school.  Everyday, I was looked up to by many students who saw me as a role model.  During my time as President, I was able to help bring lots of fun and new activities to my whole school.

One activity that I made possible, was our visit from the Japanese exchange students.  My principal turned the whole event over into my hands, so I had to contact the event director, arrange dates, and make sure that our guests where happy.

A few of my daily responsibilities were to manage a great student council, meet with the Principal and facuilty whenever neccesary, and leading the school assemblies.  I also had to organize school dances and fundraising opportunities.

All Saint's Day Saint Museum

Last year, I was chosen to represent St. Ignatius of Loyola at the annual All Saint's Day Saint Museum.  I had to research my saint and write an essay oabout him.  I also had to dress up and talk about my saint to the rest of the school.

It was a fun experience, because i was able to educate the rest of my school on the life of St. Ignatius.  The students asked many questions on my saint and I was able to answer them all and I received a great response of appreciation from all the students.

School Life

During my nine years at St. George School, I was involved in many activities including Student Council President,  Cantor, Lector and Altar Server at mass, Drama and Choir Performances, and School Sports.

Armor of Faith Award

At every assembly, we have awards given out to our "Star Students" called the Armour of Fith Award. To be able to receive this honor, you have to work your hardest, be kind and caring, and live out the schools SLEs.  I have been able to recieve the this award every year since starting at St. George.  You are called up on stage at the Thursday assemblies to shake hands with our principal and get your award.

Fine Arts Showcase

Every year, the choir and honor choir put on a Fine Arts Showcase for the entire school.  This year, the theme was "Song Hits From The Silverscreen."

The video above, is my version of "What a Wonderful World."
